Mark Hamill Retiring From ‘Star Wars’

I know, I know, I know… we’ve promised not to reveal any potential spoilers regarding ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ but this isn’t really a leak. However, if you want leaks or spoilers, visit our spoiler-board where speculation will take you to a galaxy far, far away.

To begin with, Mark Hamill has always been the one to tease fans of his involvement with projects related to Star Wars. However, we believe this time he might have slipped up, or J.J. let him. Whatever the case may be, Mark teased he’s done with Star Wars after ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ and that he’s returning as a force ghost:

In all honesty, this will leave many of us sad that his ‘number has been called’ and that this is probably the last time we’ll see Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker. One thing to note here is Mark’s classic ‘look at the camera and grin’ response as he hints towards returning as a force ghost in Episode IX.

Whether we can take Mark seriously or not in regards to this response, no one will know for certain until ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ releases in theaters this December.
