For those who know Kevin Smith, he can definitely be considered as one of Hollywood’s biggest nerds when it comes to anything Star Wars, Marvel, or anything comic-related. In fact, even his daughter is named after one of DC’s famous characters, Harley Quinn.
But, I digress. Kevin Smith has a heart of gold when it comes to knowing and understanding the ‘heart’ that belongs in each of these franchises- especially, Star Wars. As a matter of fact, Kevin Smith had almost the chance of a lifetime while on set at Pinewood Studios during the filming of ‘The Rise of Skywalker’. Here, take a listen:
For most people to even get a chance to be on set of a Star Wars production would melt one’s mind. But in this case, Kevin Smith could have seen in-person the ending of ‘The Rise of Skywalker’, the end of a 40-year long saga which has captured hearts, just like his.
I can’t imagine the temptation that would have befallen me if I was the one in Kevin’s place. Surely, it would have been a mind-over-matter struggle. But in the end, our sweet dear J.J. Abrams kindly urged him to not give in. Isn’t J.J. such a nice guy?
But seriously though, I don’t know what I would have done if I was on set at Pinewood Studios. Luckily for me, I will have to just wait and see just like everyone else. Hopefully though, it won’t actually melt my mind.
Next up, who’s X-Wing is that? And who painted it that gosh-awful orange? Well, some speculated it to be Wedge’s X-Wing, but apparently, that is not the case. According to Bespin Bulletin, the mysterious orange X-Wing belongs to none other than… *drumroll*… Poe Dameron! See for yourself:
