Special Look at Disney World’s Rise of the Resistance

*Spoilers Ahead*

On December 5th, fans from around the world will be able to witness the transformation of Galaxy’s Edge where the new ride Rise of the Resistance will take them on a journey through an epic battle against the First Order.

Located at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, Star Wars will never be more immersive and fun! With its arrival this week, here’s a special sneak peek just to get you excited for what’s coming.

Pretty cool, huh? Luckily for me, I’ll hopefully be able to give it a whirl as I visit Galaxy’s Edge next January. Sorry, don’t mean to brag. Just excited! Anyways, it also appears that Disney may have given away a hint as to what fans can expect in the final stretches of the ride. According to an official new rider safety advisory sign in front of the attraction, it warns,

“Join us on an exhilarating mission to stop the First Order. This mission includes rapid motion, sudden stops, sharp turns and a swift drop as you evade capture from the First Order.”

Hopefully, the ending is no “swift drop” as that would be a dead give away as to what to expect. Supposedly, the finale of the highly anticipated attraction,

“…feature(s) an escape pod sequence that will will send riders trapped aboard a Star Destroyer hurtling through space back toward Batuu. The escape pods will feature Star Tours-like motion-based simulators combined with a drop tower-like experience”
