People Magazine’s Exclusive Look Into The Rise of Skywalker

The Rise of Skywalker has been a marketing machine as of late. Interviews, interviews, and more interviews for the cast and crew! People Magazine is no exception.

An all-new Collector’s Edition styled magazine by People Magazine, “The Essential Guide to The Rise of Skywalker,” has been released and their is more to the cover than meets the eye.

Have you seen it, I mean “him” yet? Here, take a closer look.

Now, you see him? Palpatine is just casually chilling there in the corner. Up until now, I believe this is the first time we’ve actually seen his face from The Rise of Skywalker. Or, have we? Some believe that isn’t a new image of Palpatine, but a previously used image from the video game, Star Wars: Battlefront II.

As you can see, both have remarkable resemblances. And from what it looks like, it appears to be true. In any case, it’s fun to speculate whether Palpatine in The Rise of Skywalker will look the same or different, because c’mon, he did fall down a pit and supposedly die, right? I’m pretty sure after a traumatic experience like that, you’re bound to look a tad worse.

With the release of this exclusive guide by People Magazine, comes also a multitude of interviews from the cast and crew. Take a listen here to what they have to say about closing the Skywalker saga.
