No, The Rise of Skywalker Audiobook Isn’t Canceled

The internet can be a dangerous world out there for Star Wars fans who scour the internet to find their latest Star Wars news and rumors. Unfortunately, though, it isn’t hard to find the fake stuff floating around either.

Rumors have been swirling online that the audiobook for the upcoming expanded edition novel for The Rise of Skywalker has been suddenly canceled.

Originally sourced from the r/StarWarsLeaks Reddit page, it has now since then been marked as fake. Today, we also received confirmation from the official Star Wars Del Rey Twitter page that replied:

As you can see, it’s always worth asking before spreading a rumor. Nothing better than hearing it directly from the rancor’s mouth. If any such delays happen, which most likely won’t, we’ll make sure to keep you informed. For right now, though, take a long hard gasp of fresh air knowing that The Rise of Skywalker: Expanded Edition, written by Rae Carson, will be waiting on your doorstep, or playing on your earbuds, when March 17th comes around.
