Rebels Sequel Rumors Confirmed?

We have a new development in the potential for a Rebels sequel show, courtesy of Den of Nerds’s Youtube channel.

Today, the channel released a video confirming the rumors of a sequel to Star Wars Rebels are true, taking the time to break down the rumor sources, their validity, and whether the show will be a true “sequel”. Den of Nerds cites Noah Outlaw and Cory Van Dyke as legitimate sources that truly validate the rumors.

This is affirming news for Rebels fans, who have been dying to see Ahsoka and Sabine search for Ezra in the Unknown Regions. The video makes a good point, though – depending on certain factors, the show may not even be considered a sequel, by definition. If we don’t see a lot of Hera, or Jaycen, or Ezra, it may not earn that title. However, according to earlier rumors, part of the main storyline will involve Ezra and Thrawn surviving in those regions, so that may not be a problem.
