A ‘Double XP’ Joke Turned Reality for Battlefront II Players

What started as a joke on r/Gaming has turned into reality for Battlefront II players.

A meme was posted saying video game publishers should double XP during the ever-increasing coronavirus quarantine. Ben Walke, Battlefront II community manager, was tagged in the post, and made some magic happen.

“We’re turning on x2 Experience in Star Wars Battlefront II up until March 27, and then it’ll be a x3 Experience weekend,” he tweeted yesterday. “People are stuck at home. We can’t change the world but we can make their gaming a little more enjoyable.”

With people searching out new ways to pass time while we’re inside, this is a nice gesture. Let’s remember to spread a little kindness during our online gaming and keep the positivity rolling. We’ll need all we can get in the times to come.

And don’t forget, The Rise of Skywalker is officially out on digital release, so maybe a marathon is in order!
