‘Battlefront II: Battle of Scarif’ Update Delayed

As we quarantine and shelter-in-place, many folks are turning to video games to occupy their time. Star Wars fans are flocking to Battlefront II, which is currently in a double-XP phase as a courtesy to players.

Many were awaiting an update to the game – Battle of Scarif. The Battlefront II team released an update on r/StarWarsBattlefront earlier today, stating the team is now working entirely from home.

“Work continues on the game but the adjustment from the office environment into our homes has caused some knock-on effects to our workflows. We’re currently streamlining these processes and adapting as we move forward.

As a result of this we have decided to move the release of the Battle on Scarif Update to Mid-April. This is our new target time-frame but as the situation continues to develop, we will keep you posted on any further timing adjustments.”

This is a bummer, but we’re glad the developers are watching out for their own health and safety. Until then, continue to enjoy the XP bonus, and look out for the triple-XP event from March 27-29th.

I sincerely wish everyone the best – stay healthy, stay safe, and remember: your focus determines your reality. Let’s uplift, support one another, and maintain a positive focus.
