The Star Wars YouTube page released a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the final Clone Wars arc, involving the infamous Siege of Mandalore.
In the most recent episode, Maul and Ahsoka have a powerful lightsaber battle high above the city. The duel was specially done with motion-capture for the occasion, with Ray Park revisiting his role as Maul, and stuntwoman Lauren Mary Kim providing the motion for Ahsoka.
In the behind-the-scenes video, we get to see Park and Kim in action. We get a glimpse of how the animators translated the mo-cap into Clone Wars-style animation.

This was a special scene for so many. To have Park return and bring Maul’s signature movement to life is like a love letter to fans.
The final two episodes are upon us, and – SPOILER – since this episode brought us into the time frame of Revenge of the Sith, Order 66 is right around the corner.
