Two New Casting Announcements for ‘Cassian Andor’ Series

There are many exciting leaks involving Star Wars casting floating around the web, and Bespin Bulletin is adding another to the list today.

Jimmy Smits and Alistair Petrie are apparently set to appear in the upcoming Cassian Andor series. Smits will portray Bail Organa, of course, and Petrie will reprise his Rogue One role, Davits Draven.

This makes perfect sense in a series that will surely focus on the Rebellion. It will be interesting to see the politics behind it, and how the Rebellion was built.

Of particular interest to this writer is the story of Bail Organa. We’ve seen small bites of his Rebellion involvement through other stories. A show will allow us to explore his part in detail.

Smits and Petrie are not the only returning Star Wars actors – aside from Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk, we’ll also see Genevieve O’Reilly portray Mon Mothma once more.
