The first season of The Mandalorian ushered in a new era of Star Wars, being the first live-action TV show in the franchises’ history. Widely acclaimed for its loveable characters and space-western vibe, Pedro Pascal has been able to witness its greatness first-hand.
In an interview with GQ Magazine, Pascal had the following to say about his experience on-set during production of season two of The Mandalorian.
“There are some pretty mind-blowing things. I think expectations will be exceeded. Their love of Star Wars will be injected with steroids.”Pedro Pascal, GQ Magazine
With rumors of Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, Boba Fett, Bo-Katan and even Sabine Wren all making cameos in the show, I concur with Pascal that season two is shaping up to be an extraordinary adventure for Mando fans. Whether the rumors turn out to be true, is still yet to be seen. However, one thing we can all expect is another Academy Award-deserving musical score by Ludwig Göransson.
“Just to see Ludwig [Göransson] and his live orchestra, which they rarely do any more, and see that all come together was amazing.”Pedro Pascal, GQ Magazine
It’s a pleasure to hear a certainty in Pascal’s words that fans of the show will have their expectations exceeded in nearly every way. Coming this October, fans will reunite with the show they fell in love with and from what it sounds like, it will have been well worth the wait.
