Lucasfilm Casting for Live-Action Ezra Bridger

Yet another live-action casting leak has made its way into fandom news – and this time, it’s for Ezra Bridger.

According to The Illuminerdi, Lucasfilm is searching for an actor to play an adult Ezra, between the ages of 30 to 40. “They are looking for an actor of color, specifically performers of Asian descent, however they are open to Indian, Latino, or Middle Eastern actors as well.”

There’s some speculation this casting is for the second season of The Mandalorian, since there will be several Rebels characters in the show this fall. However, The Illuminerdi states “we were assured that it was not for The Mandalorian specifically.”

This doesn’t mean he won’t appear in the show, but it sounds like they’re using live-action Ezra for another unannounced project. Let the speculation begin!
