Multiple Actors Want to Play Live-Action Ezra Bridger

Recently, we reported on another live-action casting leak that made its way into fandom news. Courtesy of The Illuminerdi, Lucasfilm is searching for someone to play an adult Ezra, between the ages of 30 and 40. More specifically, “They are looking for an actor of color, specifically performers of Asian descent, however they are open to Indian, Latino, or Middle Eastern actors as well.”

The casting call seems to fit the description of an adult Ezra Bridger. Although we haven’t received any official confirmation yet, multiple actors have already expressed interest in playing the character.

Actors Taylor Gray (original voice actor for Ezra), Rahul Kohli, and my personal favorite for the role, Mena Massoud, took to Twitter to respond to fans about the casting call.

While it’s a possibility that none of these actors could be chosen for the role, it appears that Lucasfilm already has a queue for the position. Personally, if they want an actor who can look the part as a multi-verse “street rat,” I believe Mena is the one who can pull it off.

Right now, we need Lucasfilm to confirm a lot of these rumors before any of us get our hopes up. Months have gone by, and we are still waiting for a response from Lucasfilm about Rosario Dawson being cast as Ahsoka Tano. Hopefully, we’ll all get some surprising news at Star Wars Celebration, if and when that happens.

Who would you like to see play as live-action Ezra Bridger?
