‘The Lightsaber Collection’ Will Feature a Lightsaber from The High Republic

Originally set to release later this summer, last week it was announced that The High Republic publishing project would be delayed until early 2021 due to “general marketplace delays” stemming from the coronavirus pandemic.

While its delay comes as a shock, fans will be able to get a sneak peek prior to its release with The Lightsaber Collection, a “comprehensive visual guide exploring the iconic and legendary lightsabers found within the Star Wars galaxy, featuring fan-favorite hilts from the Skywalker saga, Star Wars: The Clone WarsStar Wars Rebels, comics, novels, and video games.”

An updated description for the visual guide states that it will include “a new lightsaber from The High Republic,” and that it’s a “must-have for Star Wars fans.”

While this sounds a lot like a late addition to the guidebook, at least we’re getting some sort of introduction before we dive headfirst into a new era for the franchise!

Check back here before it releases on October 20th for an early review of this title! Pre-order your copy today!
